I thought perhaps traveling for work so much would give me
lots of opportunities to write… but alas, I appear to be wrong.

this is the year of the doe.

For me, that is.  Through a long explanation involving my favorite literary characters and a silly gift from a former boss (which I may or may not get to in another post), the doe is a theme and a symbol for my own 2015.

But what does it mean?

Well, as I’m not getting into the long story quite yet, these are the things I know it symbolizes so far:

Unconditional Love

A Thirst for Christ

Identity (in these things)

Hopefully, I will discover some more.  I look forward to my time with you in this, the Year of the Doe.

As the deer panteth for the water,
So my soul longeth after Thee.
